Medicom Toy return to their officially licensed Star Wars Vintage Sofubi line for the sixth instalment this month, taking on Han Solo’s wookie-in-crime, Chewbacca! Once again sculpted by BearModel, the 1970’s-style figure stands at a lofty 10″ tall, coming complete with articulation in the arms, legs and waist. Packed with a removable bandolier and bowcaster weapon, Chewie can be found in the Medicom Toy store right here for just 9,000yen ($83) plus shipping. Originally revealed at the Hyperstoic event in New York during NYCC last month, Pushead‘s breathtaking Snotblower figure is now finally up for grabs through Toy Tokyo! Designed by Pushead, sculpted by Cosmo Liquid and produced by Medicom, the gorgeous vinyl figure stands at around 10″, coming with multiple points of articulation for your posing pleasure. Having seen sell-out releases at both NYCC and Designer Con over the past month, Joe Truck Kasher over at Snatchpunch Creature Cartel is proud to reveal that his debut sofubi, the queen of gross known as Bostyrant, will be seeing an exclusive run through Medicom Toy soon! Designed by Joe, sculpted by Grizlli Atom aka GNOSIS and produced by Velocitron, the mid size, 4-part soft vinyl figure comes brimming with gruesome details, including multiple oozing eyes, gaping, stitched flesh and four putrid, witch-like udders- all sprayed up in a stunning multi-metallic paint app conceived by Nebulon5. Set for release at some point in early 2015, we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground for more info on the release soon…

Originally debuting as a self-produced resin mini figure at Design Fiesta 39 back in May (check him here), the little guy has now received an official license from Cosmos, releasing in a choice of 5 soft vinyl colorways as part of Medicom’s new Vinyl Artist Gacha (VAG) Series 1. Touching down at Village Vangard alongside 26 other Japan-based retailers on December 13th for a super-cheap 463yen ($4) each, overseas customers are going to need to get in contact with forwarding service M-World at m-world-service@dream.jp to be in with a chance of securing these awesome minis…

Medicom Toy have secured yet another exclusive release from Max Toy Co, the “Fluorescent” Yuninko set! Taken from Max Toy’s latest wave of “Monster Boogie” sofubi minis, the adorable My Little Pony-inspired centaur has been sculpted by PicoPico, standing at a little under 4″ tall and coming complete with articulation in the neck. To be released as a set of 3 produced in a mix of bright yellow, green and pink soft vinyl, the trio each come with an array of contrasting masked spray work and hand painted detailing. Due to touch down on the Medicom Toy store right here on Sunday, December 7th, the “Fluorescent” Yuninkos will set you back just 5,000yen ($43) plus shipping. Overseas ordering is still to be confirmed, but it’s likely that you’re are going to need to hit up a forwarding service to be in with a chance of bagging the trio…

Having seen a huge amount of success with Jamira over the past 6 months, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has revealed that a second entry into the officially Tsuburaya-licensed Ultrakaiju Series will be making an appearance early next year! Taking on Ultraman’s dino-kaiju “Aboras” this time around, it would appear that the mono-horned beast will be in-scale with Jamira, standing at around 5″ tall and 6″ long. Teased here as the first vinyl test pull, we’re unfortunately going to have to wait a little while before we can get our hands on this one, the debut currently slated for Wonderfestival in February 2015. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait until then for a full reveal…

Jon over at Rampage Toys is very proud to reveal that he’ll be teaming up with Medicom Toy for an exclusive “RAMPAGING Polar Bear” edition of his hugely popular Kesagake sofubi!  Standing at a lofty 10.5″ tall and coming with 4 points of articulation, the menacing grizzly has been produced in a snowy white soft vinyl for the release, coming complete with a number of icy blue sprays plus both male and female Hokkaido settler omake in a frost-bitten light blue. Due to touch down via lottery on the Medicom Toy store at some point in mid-December, the “RAMPAGING Polar Bear” Kesagake will set you back just 20,000yen ($173) plus shipping… Look out for an updated post once the release goes live!

Teased here earlier in the month, we can now finally bring you full release details of the Medicom Toy exclusive “RAMPAGING Polar Bear” Kesagake sofubi from Rampage Toys!  Standing at a lofty 10.5″ tall and coming with 4 points of articulation, the menacing grizzly has been produced in a snowy white soft vinyl for the release, coming complete with a number of icy blue sprays plus both male and female Hokkaido settler omake in a “frozen in ice” light blue. Currently available to Japanese customers in the Medicom store for 20,000yen ($169) plus shipping, interested parties overseas are going to need to fill in the dedicated lottery form right here before the January 10th close date for a chance at purchasing the frost-bitten beast…

Nerdone has teamed up with Medicom Toy for an exclusive run of M.O.T.U.L.O.S play sets! An inspired mix of Masters of the Universe and classic keshi line, Neclos Fortress, the sofubi/keshi combo is set to feature a red soft resin figure this time around, coming complete with the Greyskull-inspired castle in a GID soft vinyl with mint, metallic red, gold and black sprays. Due to touch down in the Medicom Toy store right here on Saturday, January 10th for just 4,200yen ($35) plus shipping, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed the release will be open to the West as we’re told this will be one of the last releases of the set!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that he will be attending Wonderfestival on February 8th with a whole host of new releases! Joining forces with the usual suspects – Nerdone, Shamrockarrow, Datadub, Pop Soda and Refreshment – a number of one-off customs and micro runs will be up for grabs including Nerdone Gorilla Tanks and some Villager Omake “Snack Packs” (which will be bagged with header card by Walter P), as well as the debut of the latest figure in the officially Tsuburaya-licensed RAMPAGE Ultra Kaiju  Series, Aboras! Standing in-scale with the previously released Jamira, the 5″ tall figure features 5 parts this time around, coming cast in a painted blue-green soft vinyl for it’s first release. To be joined by a new painted flesh Jamira, the pair will be up for grabs at the event for just $40 each, with any remaining heading online the following Monday…

Having devled into the world of DC Comics last month with the release of both The Penguin and Robin last month, Medicom Toy have returned to rival line – The Marvel Retro Sofubi Collection – for their latest round of comic-book inspired releases, taking on the mighty Venom, Ghostrider and Vision! Once again sculpted by Bear Model with coloring courtesy of Monsters Stock Farm, the vintage-styled trio each come in at around 10″ tall with 5-6 points of articulation. Currently available to Japanese customers through the Medicom store, international customers can find the pair on the Rakuten Global Market right here for just 8,640yen ($73) each plus shipping. Up for grabs until February 28th, shipping is expected in late May 2015…

Ahead of the highly anticipated Stretch Serpent sofubi featured here just last week, Awesome Toy have revealed yet another new figure for 2015, the 4-Armed Bakura! A follow-up to last year’s Fake Spectreman, the official P Productions licensed release takes on one of the classic tokusatsu series’ many kaiju foes this time around, offering up the quad armed beast as a towering 9″ tall figure complete with matching Bakura parasite. Marking the first release in 2 very different colorways; a standard GID and a green GID – both coming with paint apps devised by Osamutoi – the pair are currently available to Japanese customers through the Medicom Toy store right here for just 11,500yen ($97) each plus shipping. Due to licensing restrictions, Bakura is unfortunately unavailable to overseas customers, so anyone interested should make enquires with their regular forwarding service to be in with a chance of securing the pair…

Originally releasing way back in September of last year, Kikkake Toy‘s Iron Monkey 2 sofubi returns this month as a Medicom Toy exclusive! Drawing inspiration from classic vintage wind-up toys, the beautifully sculpted figure replaces the original design’s torso with an upscaled Roly Poly ball, also removing the cymbals in favour of an all-new accessory- a trifecta of creepy leashed dogs featuring the original Iron Clown, Monkey and Skull heads! Produced in a black sofubi and treated to a highly detailed mix of metallic blue, red, silver and gold sprays, the 7″ tall figure is currently available to Japanese customers in the Medicom Toy store for 16,667yen ($140) plus shipping. As if the recently released Jungle Fever “Fog” exclusive wasn’t enough (check it out here), RESTORE have revealed that they’ll be teaming up with Medicom Toy once again next month for a special run of “Oni-Sakura” NEO JAPAN sofubi! Featuring the standard NEO body with the all-new demon head sculpt, the 8” tall figure appears to be cast in an orange/red vinyl for this second release, with the figure’s staggering 33 paint masks in full-effect with a mix of tight black, green, gold, blue and orange sprays. Sculpted by Kaneko Yowohei, the awesome little figure follows a similar template to previous VAG releases, featuring a 2.5″ tall 2-part design that comes in a selection of 5 randomly assorted colorways. Making it’s debut at the Osaka Soft Expo over the weekend (check it here), GEEK! x One Up’s Jyujin (Beastman) Omega has just received it’s second release this month as a Medicom Toy exclusive! A follow-up to GEEK!’s original 2013 Jyujin sofubi, the breathtaking piece features a similarly impressive scale, standing at just under 12″ and coming with articulation both in the arms and legs. Produced in what appears to be a light grey soft vinyl and coming with red, white, grey and black sprays, the Medicom exclusive Jyujin Omega is currently available to Japanese customers here for 20,000yen ($169), whilst overseas collectors are going to need to fill out the dedicated form right here
